- Lead and support investigations, infrastructure assessments, and environmental remediation projects both on site and from your remote/work-from-home office
- Conduct engineering analyses related to water, wastewater, stormwater, and environmental systems
- Conduct field data collection, system inspections, sampling, and testing
- Prepare and review technical reports, design documents, and regulatory submittals
- Support remedial design and implementation activities under RCRA, CERCLA, and related regulatory frameworks
- Coordinate with project teams, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders
- Perform field oversight, data collection, and contractor/subcontractor coordination as needed
- Work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary project teams both in the field and in remote/work-from-home settings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or related engineering discipline from an accredited institution
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience (including internships, co-ops, or related project experience) in environmental consulting, infrastructure projects, remediation, or water/wastewater systems
- Demonstrated experience preparing engineering calculations and technical reports
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations, including RCRA and CERCLA, preferred
- Experience with water, wastewater, stormwater, and/or environmental system evaluation and design
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills
- Willingness to perform fieldwork and travel to project sites as required
The salary range for this position is $90,000-$150,000, DOE/DOQ. SC&A does not accept third-party applications or agency inquiries. Phone calls are not accepted for any position.
