To connect with us, visit www.usatodayco.com The Circulation Analyst is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and standardized analysis of subscriber activity across the subscription-to-cash lifecycle. This role supports all circulation-related business areas by ensuring consistent, reliable reporting and leveraging automation to improve data accuracy and efficiency. The Circulation Analyst plays a key role in optimizing the end-to-end subscription-to-cash process by identifying opportunities for standardization and automation across billing, payment application, and revenue recognition. This includes partnering with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention, and improve system integration and data flow. In addition, the analyst supports business initiatives and project analysis by evaluating the operational and financial impact of system enhancements, pricing strategies, and process changes, ensuring improved efficiency, accuracy, and long-term scalability.
Responsibilities
Assists in the development and implementation of standardized analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting, including ad hoc analysis as needed Identifies opportunities to improve productivity and insight generation through automation, process optimization, and elimination of redundant activities Partners with cross-functional teams including Circulation Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and IT to support initiatives such as system migrations, billing enhancements, and reporting improvements Analyzes variances within the subscription-to-cash lifecycle, including discrepancies in billing, payment application, and recognized revenue, and delivers clear root-cause explanations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of analytical experience, preferably in circulation, subscription, or revenue analysis Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel including Power Query and data analysis skills Ability to synthesize large datasets into meaningful insights and recommendations Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working across teams Experience in a consolidated financial environment preferred Familiarity with financial planning or reporting tools #LI-NR2 #LI-REMOTE The annualized base salary for this role will range between $50,000 and $55,000. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable.
