Hello! I am an author working on a children’s picture book titled The Light That Lives in You. This is a heartfelt, uplifting story for children ages 4–8, focused on themes of inner light, love, and emotional warmth. I’m looking for an illustrator who can bring this story to life in a soft, whimsical, and emotionally expressive style.
- Art Style I’m Looking For:
- Gentle, light-filled, and magical (not cartoonish or overly bold)
- Soft textures, warm tones, and expressive characters
- A style that feels calming, comforting, and meaningful
- Nature-inspired elements are a plus (trees, light, subtle magical atmosphere)
- Important: No use of crystals in illustrations
- Project Details:
- Approximately 20–24 illustrations (a mix of full-page and possibly a few spot illustrations)
- Full-color illustrations
- Cover design included or quoted separately
- This is a paid project (please include your rates or packages, ideally per illustration or full project)
- What I’m Looking For in You:
- Experience illustrating children’s books (please include samples)
- Strong communication and reliability
- Ability to collaborate and bring emotional depth to scenes
