CAD Designer – Energy Parks
Job Description:
- Create and maintain engineering drawings for integrated energy campuses.
- Work alongside electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical engineers.
- Develop site layouts, utility infrastructure plans, substations, transmission systems, solar energy, wind energy, battery storage facilities, and data center support infrastructure.
- Support estimating and engineering efforts with quantity takeoffs, drafting, modeling, and data analysis.
- Create and maintain detailed CAD drawings and design packages for utility-scale Energy Parks projects.
- Communicate any discrepancies noticed in the plans and specifications to the estimators.
- Track and monitor design changes and communicate scope of design changes to users.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a two-year technical degree in Drafting and Design – Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical.
- Experience supporting integrated energy infrastructure projects that combine multiple technologies such as gas generation, battery energy storage systems (BESS), substations, transmission, renewable energy, and data center infrastructure.
- Utility-scale power generation experience, including combined cycle, gas turbine, or other dispatchable generation facilities.
