About JB Roadside JB Roadside is the Triangle's premier provider of fast, reliable roadside assistance. We serve as the lifeline for stranded motorists, and our Dispatchers are the critical link between a customer in need and the technician who saves the day. Our mission is to provide professional, rapid-response service to the Raleigh, Durham, and Cary communities. We are looking for a bilingual professional to help us bridge the gap and serve our diverse customer base. The Role As a Bilingual Dispatcher, you are the central hub of our operations. You will be responsible for receiving calls and texts from stranded motorists, assessing the customer's needs, and strategically assigning technicians based on location, equipment requirements, and priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics Management: Monitor technician status and ETAs to ensure we meet our response-time guarantees.
• Local Navigation: Use GPS and local knowledge of the RDU area, such as I-40, I-440, I-540, 85, and 70, to provide accurate ETAs to customers.
• Fleet Management: Dispatch technicians for a variety of needs, including tire changes, jump-starts, and mobile fuel delivery.
• Problem Solving: Navigate schedule changes, traffic delays, and high-priority emergencies on the fly.
• Response Coordination: Answer inbound calls and texts from customers in English and Spanish, ensuring a fast and professional intake process.
• Record Keeping: Accurately enter data regarding service calls, vehicle information, and billing details into our system.
• Bilingual Support: Provide clear, empathetic communication to Spanish-speaking customers who may be in high-stress situations on the roadside

Qualifications

• Fluency: Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in dispatching or customer service.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Geographic Knowledge: Familiarity with Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Wake Forest, and Garner
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and the ability to quickly learn dispatching software such as Towbook, Beacon, and Dispatch Anywhere.
• Multi-Tasking: Ability to handle multiple phone lines and chat windows simultaneously while maintaining focus.
