Azure Data Engineer (4-5 Years only)
Role : Data Engineer Location : Remote Hire type : Contract Must have : SQL , Databrick , SQL , Snowflake Year of Experience : 4-5 years only JD As part of this initiative, she needs to drive 2 Scrum teams . One enhances existing Databricks jobs must be modernised in alignment with the new governance standards. This includes migrating Delta tables to Uniform tables, converting external tables to managed tables, and moving workloads from legacy Databricks environments to the governed managed Databricks instance. The scope also covers updating data masking and filter controls, implementing performance optimisations such as clustering, and creating compliant views in both Databricks and Snowflake . Views created should have Table Owner Tags, Table Description, Column Description. This needs to be formed for 500+ Data Assets. Other work on new Capital Data Engineering Projects. - All contractor resources are expected to demonstrate baseline proficiency in enterprise-approved AI tools as part of their day-to-day responsibilities. This includes, but is not limited to:
-Consistent Use: Maintain a minimum of 90% weekly usage of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other GenAI platforms approved by the enterprise. -Applied Productivity: Leverage AI tools to enhance coding, documentation, data analysis, and decision-making workflows. -Continuous Learning: Stay current with evolving AI capabilities and features, and apply them to improve delivery quality and velocity.
