AWS Cloud Billing & Finance Analyst
Position Overview Aligned Technology Group is seeking a Cloud Billing & Finance Analyst to manage AWS billing operations, financial reporting, and chargeback/showback processes. This role will bridge the gap between cloud operations and finance by providing visibility into cloud spend and helping organizations allocate costs accurately across business units.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and reconcile AWS Cost and Usage Reports (CUR)
- Manage cloud billing operations and support billing inquiries
- Implement chargeback and showback reporting models
- Develop executive financial dashboards and reporting
- Support cloud budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation initiatives
- Manage marketplace subscriptions and billing processes
- Establish repeatable monthly billing and reporting cycles
- Train stakeholders on AWS billing structures and terminology
Qualifications
- 3+ years of finance, cloud billing, or financial operations experience
- Experience with AWS billing and cost management tools
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Experience with dashboarding and reporting tools
- Understanding of cloud financial management concepts
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience supporting enterprise or public-sector organizations preferred
