Appointment Setter, Estimate Mastery
Appointment Setter, Estimate Mastery Remote. Full-time, 8am to 5pm CST. 1099, commission based, no base. $6,000 to $7,000 a month. Most setter jobs are a headset, a script, and a number nobody believes in. This is not that. We have over 10,000 qualified contacts in the system right now that nobody has called yet, and a closing team that needs you to feed it. Your job is to start conversations with roofing contractors, find the ones bleeding money on bad insurance estimates, and book them onto a closer's calendar. You are the front of the whole machine. If you like the phone, like the chase, and like watching your booked calls turn into closed deals, keep reading. The honest version of the job. WHO WE ARE: Estimate Mastery teaches roofing contractors to write their Xactimate insurance estimates the right way, so they get paid 25 to 30 percent more per job and get paid faster. It is built for contractors, not adjusters, and the results speak for themselves. Customers rate us 4.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot, and contractors have pulled five-figure gains out of a single corrected estimate. We are growing, and we want someone who is here to build a career, not pad a resume for six months. WHAT THE JOB ACTUALLY IS You work the phones, the texts, and the inbox all day. You hit new leads fast, you work the back-catalog of contacts nobody has touched, and you qualify contractors for a real conversation with one of our closers. You set the appointment, you confirm it, and you do the work to make sure it actually shows. You are not closing the deal. You are creating the opportunity, and a good setter is one of the most valuable people in the building. The win is a qualified contractor who shows up ready to talk. This is a high-activity seat. You will make a lot of dials and hear a lot of no on the way to the yes. The setters who win here treat speed and follow-up like a sport. COMPENSATION OVERVIEW: Structure: 1099, commission based. No base Realistic earnings: $6,000 to $7,000 a month Upside: This is the clearest path to an Account Executive seat here. Set well, prove you can do the work, and you are first in line to close. WHO WINS HERE You like the phone and you do not rattle. You have some sales, setting, or high-volume customer-facing experience, and you can keep your energy up through a hundred dials. You are fast on a fresh lead, organized on follow-up, and you can hold a quick, friendly, confident conversation with a contractor. You are coachable and you keep score on yourself. You do not need to know roofing or Xactimate on day one. We will teach you the product and the script. We cannot teach you the energy or the hustle. QUALITY SALES PROS THAT DON'T SUCCEED
- You have bounced between three or more jobs in the last two years
- You take a no personally and let it slow you down
- You like the idea of sales but not the volume of dials it takes
- You let fresh leads sit instead of calling them fast
- You forget to confirm and follow up, so your booked calls do not show
- You need someone standing over you to stay in motion
A question worth sitting with before you apply Tell us about a stretch where you had to make a high volume of calls or outreach day after day. How did you keep your energy and your numbers up when most of the answers were no? In this seat, that is the whole game, and the application is going to ask. HOW TO APPLY: We are a US-based company hiring a full-time, remote setter, and we run a thorough process. We make no apologies for it. We are not filling a seat for a quarter. We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career here, and we hire like the decision matters, because it does. If you want a quick gig, this will feel like a lot. If you want a home, it will feel right. Here is the whole path, nothing hidden. Two steps to apply, three interviews to earn the seat. Application. Complete our formal application and answer all 15 questions. Treat them like the first sales call they are, thorough and specific. One-line answers tell us exactly how you would treat a prospect, so do the work. Personality test. Once your application is in, you complete a short personality assessment. No right or wrong answers. It is how you qualify for the first interview, so it is not a step to skip. First interview, culture fit. We get to know the real you and find out whether this is a place you would thrive. Second interview, skill assessment. If you advance, you show us you can do the job, usually with a short role-play. This is where the real setters separate from the talkers. Final interview, company alignment. The last conversation is about direction. We make sure your goals and ours point the same way, because long-term only works when they do.
