The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Regional Vice President and his/her reportable. Includes preparation of executive level reports and presentations, budget development and task management tracking, correspondence and filing. May also provide assistance/guidance to others as required. This position requires the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and work well with other departments. What you’ll do: Provide executive support, including preparing all levels of management presentations, collecting, organizing and prioritizing large volumes of data, preparing correspondence for both internal and external distribution (for all levels of management), and scheduling meetings for region management. Work independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Act as a project manager for special projects, at the request of the Region Vice President, which may include presentations, disseminating information, and coordination between cross-functional teams to include but not limited to; service, operations and A/P. Perform other administrative support duties, including assisting with communication with Attorney Generals throughout the region for final approval of the Region Vice President. What you bring: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years previous experience in an administrative support role required Prior Propane Industry knowledge preferred but not required. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, and Excel Excellent customer service skills Organized, accountable and detail oriented Comfortable in an environment filled with competing priorities, deadlines, and urgent requests Ability to communicate clearly and professionally via in-person, telephone and email communication Ability to travel as needed (less than 15%) Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening. Work Location: This position is remote. The preference is for candidates who reside in the following states: Connecticut, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire or Maine. However, we are open to considering qualified candidates located in other U.S. states, subject to business needs and applicable employment requirements.
