We are seeking a results-oriented, strategic Account Executive (AE) to accelerate our go-to-market efforts and revenue growth within the German Chemicals and Process Manufacturing sector. This pivotal role is responsible for winning new business and expanding relationships with enterprise customers—including leading chemical producers, specialty chemicals firms, and process manufacturers—across Germany and the DACH region.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities Achieve €2M+ ARR through closing €500K–€1M+ enterprise solution deals annually Own full-cycle enterprise sales: prospecting, pipeline development, qualification, proposal building, negotiation, and close Forge and expand executive relationships with decision makers in Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Digital Transformation, and IT across major chemical and process manufacturing companies Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes typical of the chemicals/process manufacturing vertical (including EHS, quality, procurement, and cross-functional teams) Partner with ecosystem players (technology partners, system integrators, engineering firms, automation vendors) to enhance solution value and accelerate deal cycles Maintain up-to-date, disciplined pipeline and accurate sales forecasts in CRM Represent SymphonyAI at key industry events (e.g., ACHEMA, VCI conferences, Hannover Messe) and drive thought leadership within the chemicals/process manufacturing sector Required Skills & Qualifications 8+ years of enterprise or large account sales experience, ideally in SaaS, technology, or advanced solutions for Chemicals, Process Manufacturing, Petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, or heavy industrial environments Demonstrated success selling into Chemicals/Process Manufacturing operations, production, supply chain, or engineering functions—candidates with only pure AI/software backgrounds without relevant plant or industry exposure will not be considered Proven track record of closing high-value deals (€500K+), and achieving/exceeding multi-million-euro quotas Deep understanding of Chemicals/Process Manufacturing sales cycles, value drivers, and industry trends (Industry 4.0, process optimization, predictive maintenance, sustainability initiatives, digitalization, MES/ERP integration) Strong executive presence and ability to gain trust with senior leaders at DAX-listed and mid-cap chemical/process manufacturing companies Exceptional pipeline generation, deal orchestration, and solution-selling skills Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is mandatory Preferred Skills & Qualifications Existing network within German Chemicals/Process Manufacturing leadership and key decision makers Experience in a fast-growth or early-stage technology company Experience partnering with or selling alongside ecosystem partners (system integrators, automation vendors, engineering firms, consulting partners) Knowledge of current Chemicals/Process Manufacturing technology landscape (DCS, SCADA, MES, ERP, APM, Quality Management Systems, Industrial IoT, AI/ML platforms) Understanding of German regulatory environment and industry standards (REACH, GHS, VCI guidelines, Industry 4.0 frameworks) Experience selling subscription-based or outcome-based business models Work Arrangement Remote – Germany (ideally based near major chemical hubs: Rhine-Ruhr region, Frankfurt, Munich, or Hamburg). Travel required for client meetings, plant visits, industry events, and internal team sessions across Germany and DACH region.
