3D Architectural Visualization Artist / AnimatorAbout Preview 3D Preview 3D creates premium architectural visualizations for multifamily residential developments throughout the United States. Our work helps developers, architects, and property managers market apartment communities before they are built through cinematic animations and photorealistic renderings. We are looking for an experienced 3D Architectural Visualization Artist to join our production team on an ongoing basis. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about architecture, lighting, composition, and creating beautiful visual stories—not gaming or character animation. Reports directly to Studio Director.
Responsibilities
- Create high-end photorealistic 3D models from architectural drawings, CAD files, Revit models, and design packages.
- Develop realistic exterior and interior environments for multifamily apartment communities.
- Produce cinematic architectural animations using smooth first-person walkthroughs, fly-throughs, and carefully planned camera movements.
- Create marketing-quality still renderings for exterior architecture, amenities, residential units, and community spaces.
- Build realistic lighting, materials, landscaping, vegetation, and environmental effects.
- Apply post-production techniques to enhance realism and presentation quality.
- Follow Preview 3D's established production workflow and quality standards.
- Participate in milestone reviews and efficiently implement client feedback.
- Deliver work on schedule while maintaining consistent quality across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members using clear written communication.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience creating architectural visualizations.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating photorealistic architectural renderings and animations.
- Experience producing visualization for multifamily residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
- Excellent understanding of architectural materials, lighting, composition, and environmental realism.
- Experience creating cinematic camera paths and first-person architectural walkthroughs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and revision cycles.
Preferred Software Experience We are open to different production pipelines, but experience with the following is preferred:

- Lumion
- Twinmotion
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere Pro

- Communicate clearly in written English.
- Be responsive during the production process.
- Be comfortable receiving and implementing revisions.
- Verbal English communication is a strong advantage but not required.
